What these Crime Stats Mean For You, the Grand Strand Resident

As you look at the stats and keep a close eye on the crime rate, you will see that many incidences of crime happen near the tourist areas of the Grand Strand. Meaning – near Ocean Boulevard, and near hotels, tourist attractions and at construction sites. That does not mean crime doesn’t happen in neighborhoods around the Grand Strand, but a large concentration of crime happens in areas that are deemed ‘tourist’ areas.
