Meet Hero Dog Who Saves Child Home Alone By Chasing Off A Burglar!
Can Dogs Deter or Stop Home Invasions?
Burglars report that they will skip homes that display signs of a resident dog.
Signs that tell a robber that a house may have a canine occupant include
- fenced yard
- dog toys
- water bowl
- sign ‘Beware of Dog’
- dog leash
- dog house
and more!
“Dogs are a deal-breaker for me,” said one inmate. “Big breeds, home protectors are the best to keep people out.”
Burglars don’t want any confrontation of any kind; not with dogs, not with humans either.

A child who was left home alone while his parents left to go pick up siblings at school, was confronted by a masked burglar.
Fortunately, the story ends well as the boy had the presence of mind to call his dog. The dog positioned herself between the boy and the burglar and thus chased him out the door after which the boy ran to a neighbors house to call his parents and the police.
What a hero dog!
